About Beth

As I’m sure you know by now, my name is Beth. I don’t have any fascinating backstory; I’m just a mom living in rural Illinois and living out my dreams of becoming a reclusive forest witch.

When I’m not dancing under the light of the full moon, I’m homeschooling my son, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, playing video games, or taking photos of random deer that show up on my property. But most of the time I am working on genealogy; either working on my family trees or improving my research skills. I continue the work that my mother started many years ago, and I hope to continue honoring her legacy for many years to come.

While I doubt anyone other than my own family members and friends will ever come across this website, I hope to document my progress as I add branches to my family trees and work towards my goal of becoming an accredited and professional genealogist.
